How About Some Learn & Play? Thing #17: Google Docs

at least that’s what I’m calling it, yr Web-based Apps.

(oh & I lied.  I’ve gotta wait for my Learn & Play Wiki Sandbox access to be approved, so once again, I’m skipping around).

So Web-based Apps/Google Docs are kinda awesome.  Pretty useful for someone like me whose malfunctioning home PC lives off the grid (i.e. not even actually hooked up to the internet) and who accesses the web at work and via my girlfriend’s beautiful Mac.  No discs, no flash drives (yet!).  Just internet access needed, & you can update and save your work anywhere in the world. 

I haven’t really explored any of it’s collaborative possibilities yet, but I can definitely see how that can be a plus, from enabling games of exquisite corpse to organizing food-drives for new moms.
